Meet Our Team
Founded by Lauren, Footsteps is led by a passionate team of experienced teachers who specialise across a range of dance styles:
Lauren
Principal teacher; specialises in freestyle, acrobatics, and stretch & technique
Cara
Fully qualified in freestyle, tap, ballet, and musical theatre
Amy
Teaches ballet and modern jazz; known for her soft, structured teaching style
Laura
Works with advanced students and leads choreography for competition teams
Leighonie
A former Footsteps student and qualified teacher, also a primary school teacher
Fern
Another Footsteps alum leads beginner teen classes with a relatable, upbeat style
All staff are first aid trained, insured, and certified as fire marshals and mental health first aiders. Beginner and under-8s classes include additional assistants or student helpers to ensure safety and support for every child.
